Artigo da Wikipedia sobre o créu (devidamente copiado e colado):
Créu (pronounced /ˈkɾɛw/) is a Brazilian Portuguese onomatopoeic vulgar slang used as a reference to sexual intercourse, from the viewpoint of the active partner. The word créu is used in Brazil both as an interjection and a noun, as well as a non-personal verb (Então eu fui lá e créu!, meaning "Then I went there and créu", or "did it"). It is often accompanied by a crotch chop gesture, or a pelvic thrust.
In a figurative sense, it is said after any achievement pursued, such as a fierce competition or dispute. When used in the latter way, it is regarded as a minor vulgarity.
It gained national notoriety in Brazil after success of the song called "Dança do Créu" and worldwide after Brazilian users of twitter repeatedly posted "Yes, we créu" when Rio de Janeiro was elected as the 2016 Summer Olympics host city.
"Dança do Créu"
In the Summer of 2008, the composer and producer Sérgio Costa, aka MC Créu, got top-listed in most charts in Brazil with his porno-funky hit Dança do Créu ("Créu Dance"). In this song, one single sample of the word was mixed to an ever-faster repetition, while Costa spoke on the hardship of following the rhythm. In live performances, dancers moved in an explicit choreography simulating the sexual act.
Costa, a DJ of Brazilian funk based in Rio de Janeiro, performed mainly in clubs and parties in low-income areas of the city, until suddenly raised to fame by internet meme. The video of the act, released non-commercially, reached 1,476,600 views in two months on You Tube[1], and the DJ was afterwards invited to several TV shows. The dance became a phenomenon.
One of the Créu dancers, Andressa Soares, was immediately praised for her unusually large buttocks, bearing the stage name Mulher Melancia (or "Watermelon Woman"). Later, Costa also produced a second dancer, dubbed as Mulher Moranguinho ("Small Strawberry Woman"), due to her smaller traits. Both of them became media personalities.
